Gender: Female
Age & Canon Point: Ten physically, one chronologically. She'll be pulled from the last issue of Flash Rebirth
Requested Sponsor: N/A
Entry position (Cadet, SeeD, Instructor, other): Cadet

Abilities & Physical Abnormalities:

-Decelerated Aging: The Speed Force slows down the aging process of anyone connected to it
-Phasing: Iris has the ability to vibrate her molecules at a high speed and phase through any solid object, even people
-Superhuman Endurance: As a speedster, Iris' body can endure long periods of intense physical activity without showing any signs of real distress
-Superhuman Speed: Iris, like most other speedsters, can run at the speed of sound. Because of this, her brain and the rest of her body is equipped with superhuman reflexes and response time so that they can handle everything that goes along with running at such a high speed

Besides her powers, she is physically normal. You wouldn't be able to tell a difference between her and any other little girl by just looking at her. It would take a show of her powers to be able to tell that she's different somehow.

Personality:
For the most part, Iris is a typical child. She gets excited over small things and has way too much energy when it comes to the things that excite her. When she wants something and doesn't get it, she pouts and is unhappy until something new catches her attention. She fights with her brother over simple things, like who gets to hang the piñata at a party, and is often unwilling to share things with him because she feels like she has more right to them. She complains about things that she thinks are unfair, usually in an over dramatic fashion, but can usually be appeased by simple things. When her father figured out how to use the speedforce as a sort of leash to take her places with him, she threw a fit not just because it was like a loss of freedom but because she felt it meant she would never be getting a cellphone. She has the same concerns as most children her age, mostly involving material things like cable and cellphones. She even tends to get restless and bored if she's made to stay in one place for too long without something to occupy her attention.

She has a strong sense of adventure and is very curious. She asks a lot of questions which, again, is typical for a child her age. Iris in particular seems to have a desire to know things and understand the world. She wants to explore and experience things. She wants to be involved in things like her father and Bart, like when her father and Bart went to fight a villain. She wanted to go too, wanted to be involved and do something like the rest of them. She doesn't like being treated like a kid and not being allowed to help out when it's necessary. When her father started letting her and her brother help him with superhero stuff, she was thrilled. She loved being treating like she could handle something so grown up and always got mad when she was told she couldn't go along with him. The time she got to go help the Justice League was the coolest thing to her, even though they weren't happy with her father for sending her and her brother after them. To her being a superhero is an exciting adventure, which she may grow out of in the future but for now the idea excites her.

Her upbringing has instilled a strong sense of wrong and right in her. She knows there are rules and she follows them, at least most of the time. Things like disobeying her parents and sneaking out of the house to play superhero when she was told not to are okay. But killing and stealing are wrong. She knows they're wrong and that's one of the major rules she follows. The time she was tricked into killing was one of the worst experiences in her life and she was traumatized by it for a while. She wants to help people and be a hero like her father, not hurt people. She's very kind when she wants to be and has good intentions, even if she can sometimes be a brat. There are moments when she's inspired to acts of selflessness, like when she took the majority of the Speed Force from her brother so he would stop being in pain. She tries hard to be brave because heroes are supposed to be but sometimes it doesn't work out for her. Sometimes things happen and all she wants to do is sit down and cry. Though she'll never admit it, because she wants to be a brave hero and wants to be a grown up, she still really needs her parents.

She's talkative and has strong opinions even at her age, something that she gets from her father. When she thinks something she'll say it, with no real regard for how it will be received by other people. If she thinks something is stupid, she'll say so. If she thinks her father is being embarrassing, which is often, she'll tell him. If someone is acting weird she'll tell them so and demand to know why. If someone says something that she doesn't understand or is curious about, she'll ask them what they meant even if what they said was something private. She also has a habit of eavesdropping on conversations that are really none of her business, usually between her parents and usually by phasing half of her body through a wall. She's a little bit on the nosy side and doesn't really know when to mind her own business or keep her opinion out of things. When something she doesn't like happens she will say something about it, usually in the form of a complaint. She's very good at making her unhappiness known.

Iris has her mischievous moments too, moments which were especially common when her one and only power was the ability to phase herself through solid objects. She likes to tease people and play jokes on them. She often teases her brother and makes comments about things her father does that she perceives as ridiculous. She used to use her phasing powers to phase her hand through her brother's chest and grab his nose or steal food off his plate. When saving a man from a car that was filling with water she first pretended to be a ghost, just to scare him before rescuing him. She seems to enjoy surprising a villain with her presence and throwing a helmet at his head. Anything that is an innocent annoyance or a scare to someone else is funny to her, as long as it doesn't end up harming them.
